About Us
I was introduced to gingerbread 20 years ago. A friend of mine had a beautiful gingerbread house that was the center piece on her dining room table. She broke off a piece of her gingerbread house and handed it to me and said "eat this". The gingerbread tasted great and I was smitten from that moment on. I loved the whole experience of it and it reminded me of my childhood. Linda, the person who made that house taught me how to make my first house. We've been friends ever since. I've been passionate and at times obsessed with gingerbread. I have taken classes and also entered several contests including a gingerbread contest in Harmony, PA which I won first place. My niece and nephew entered the PPG Gingerbread Contest and won first place for their individual divisions as well. We have a family tradition of gingerbread.

Who We Are |
Even though I had been making traditional gingerbread for 20 years, fifteen years ago I found out that I was gluten intolerant and so were some of my family members, including my niece who was dairy intolerant. So I started making gluten-free gingerbread with dairy-free options. It's important to me to have not only a great tasting gingerbread but also a high quality product. I use only organic spices, organic eggs, and organic non-hydrogenated oil or organic butter. The nonpareils and most of the candy are bought at a high quality candy shop. My gingerbread is made to be eaten! And some of the houses are made with plenty of chocolate for those chocolate lovers like myself. The houses can last for a couple of months if they are stored in a cool environment with low humidity. Some of my clients prefer to save their houses and bring them out each year during the holidays.
